For Rent.

My big news was going to be that I found a renter but that fell through. I was about 90% sure this girl was going to rent but it didn't work out in the end. My house is still on the rental market with ads on Craigslist and trashy yard signs that have handwritten phone numbers on them. I think they are disgusting but what else am I supposed to do? I've had many inquiries and a few tours but nothing substantial except that one girl. She even liked my purple bedroom. I guess it wasn't meant to be. I'm hoping to make the move in July. That gives me enough time to go to Europe, pack my house, find a place in KC, and move.

I have started my search for an apartment in KC. I haven't found anything I'm in love with yet. Any suggestions?

So that's it. That was the big news. No I'm not engaged, no I'm not having a baby, but I do feel like I'm having a midlife crisis which could end in one of the two senarios mentioned above.

Congrats on the move! The morning commute will be much more enjoyable. Tobias just put his condo on the market after renting it for 2 years. Let me know if you're interested...

Marriage and a baby are not made for someone going through a 1/3 life crisis! It's scary enough when you know it's coming!!! You will find someone. Maybe once school gets started back up? Though I'm surprised no summer school kids are snatching up the place.

I'm looking in the Plaza area, downtown, or Crossroads. Any further from my office (plaza) it wouldn't be worth moving.
Tessa - Would Tobias be interested in renting out his condo one more year?
Jess - I think my place is a little too expensive for a college student. I'm looking more for a renter that is a professional... someone who won't trash my place. I think I'll get more interest when people are looking at the end of school or summer wanting to rent in August.
We will see! Thanks for your comments!

I have to admit that I'm a little disappointed by your "big news". Congrats on moving (soon)!
